I'm Jenny, and I run Jenny B - Permanent Jewelry & Accessories. This page explains, in plain words, what this website collects, why, and who helps me handle it. The short version: I only use your details to take care of your booking or event, and I never sell or share them for advertising.

What this website collects

  • Event requests. When you send the event request form, I receive your name and email, plus anything else you choose to add: phone, event date, occasion, number of guests, setup, venue and notes. While you fill it in, your browser keeps a draft so nothing is lost if the window closes by accident; the draft stays on your device and is cleared when you send the form or close the tab.
  • Messages. If you email me or use "Text us", I receive your message and the contact details you share.
  • Visits. Google Analytics counts visits to this website: which pages are viewed, how people found it, and which buttons they tap, such as Book or Sign up. It uses cookies and sees basic details like your device, browser and approximate city, but never anything you type into a form. This website doesn't use advertising trackers, social media content loads only when you tap it, and its fonts are served from this site.

How I use it

Only to reply to you, plan your appointment or event, and keep simple records for my business. I never sell or rent your information, and I don't use it for advertising.

Services that help me

When you use these, your information is handled by them under their own privacy policies:

  • Netlify hosts this website and delivers event requests to me. Like any web host, it sees basic technical details such as your IP address, and it may check form submissions for spam. Netlify's privacy policy
  • Square runs my appointment booking, gift cards, checkout and "Text us" messages. These open on Square's own pages or in Square's chat. "Text us" loads only when you tap it, and it uses Google reCAPTCHA to block spam. Square's privacy policy
  • Mailchimp runs my email list. When you sign up, it keeps your email and first name and sends my emails. My Square customer list also syncs to it, so my emails reach the right people. It shows me basic details, such as whether an email was opened. Mailchimp's privacy policy
  • Google provides the reCAPTCHA check in "Text us", my email, and Google Analytics, which shows me visit numbers without telling me who you are. I don't use it for advertising. You can opt out with Google's opt-out add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser. Google's privacy policy
  • Instagram plays the short video in "Visit the studio". It loads only if you tap "Watch the video" or the entrance photo, and Instagram may then set its own cookies. Instagram's privacy policy

Emails

If you join my email list, I'll send you my welcome offer, then studio news, new charms and open dates now and then. Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom.

Text messages

If you join my text list through Square, or send me a text through "Text us", you agree to receive texts from me, as Square's form explains. I only send promotions to people who signed up. Reply STOP at any time to stop texts.

How long I keep it

I keep event requests and messages only as long as I need them to plan your event and keep my business records, and I delete old requests regularly.

Your choices

You can ask me to see, correct or delete the information I have about you. Just email jb@jennybjewelry.com and I'll take care of it.

Do Not Track

This website doesn't track you across other websites or use your visits for advertising. Google Analytics only counts visits to this site. Browsers don't follow one standard for "Do Not Track", so the site works the same either way; to opt out of Google Analytics, use Google's opt-out add-on above.

Children

This website isn't meant for children under 13, and I don't knowingly collect their information. Event requests should come from a parent or another adult.

Changes

If anything here changes, I'll update this page and the date at the top.
